Where other trends are cyclical, nautical seems to be more transitional in nature; adapting in form but never really quite leaving our consciousness. This more modern take sees a departure from traditional seabird motifs, anchors and stripes; instead capturing the very essence of the sea by placing its natural textures, shapes and tones front and centre.
